Why do you need to verify my Email?

When you register with mySchoolApp we verify the email address you enter at registration by sending you an email containing a link that we need you to click. 

We need a verified address because:

• under EU data regulations we have to be sure who's data we are storing and that we have their permission.
• the school can check the address entered against their systems.
• this ensures the email you entered is deliverable. Some functions of the app will send you a confirmation email. 

As per our Privacy Policy we only hold this data to enable you to use the functions in mySchoolApp. We do not share your data apart from with contracted 3rd parties who help us deliver the service.
